David and Darlene Todd began Todd's Welding with Faith, Prayer and a Christian
Determination to serve the people who came to Bee County and needed their services to
the best of their ability.   In return they asked to eek out a living and with hard work
to hopefully be successful and an asset to the community.  This they have done.  And after
all these years, they are ready to retire, even though they now have FOUR Very
Successful Businesses instead of the ONE they started with and are more busy than ever.

Hopefully, there is someone out there who has similar vocational interests in at least one or
more of these areas and has been successful in their own degree and who would like to expand
their own portfolio into 4 proven, profitable businesses that will continue to make the new
owner even more successful.

HISTORY: Todd’s Welding, as it was first named, was started in 1979. It was housed in a rented
warehouse not very visible to the public so property was sought for a more suitable location.
That location is the current location at 671 FM 351 in Beeville, Texas.  This was unimproved
acreage.  The first building was built in 1980 and was the main welding shop. An office building
was added soon after.

The following two years a machine shop (#3) was added beside the welding shop. Small amount of
concrete driveways were added.  The oil field was beginning to boom and more field rigs were
needed.  A chain link fence was added across the front of the property with a sign reading Todd’s
Welding.

Around 1984 a three bay truck barn (#4) was built to house the welding rigs.  There were several
things tried to diversify the business.  Some were chemical sales, pump repairs, PVC screens for
water and monitor wells.  The manufacturing of water well screens led to the adding of another
building in the back of the property (#5).  In 1987 the decision was made to venture into fiberglass
tanks as a result of the chemical sales. That part of the business began to grow more and more
and required more room so additional buildings were added to the old water well screen shop.

An additional building was needed with taller ceiling heights (#6) to accommodate work when
the business expanded to make fiberglass deer blinds and feeders as another line of products.
A large warehouse with truck docks (#7) was built in 1985 as rental property for Nalco Chemical
Company.  After their lease ran out the building was used in the production of other products
made by Todd's  Welding.  In 2000 and the name of the company was changed from Todd’s
Welding to T.W. Tanks and Construction, Inc.

Through the years more concrete paving was done to make easier access for small fork lifts
and delivery trucks for all weather conditions. Various improvements have been made through
the years including a two bedroom home built in 2002, several storage buildings and material
racks for steel, and two break rooms for employees.

The business has its own water well that supplies water to all buildings and break rooms and
each restroom facility has its own septic system. Each building has its own electrical supply and
                  metering.

There are two different acreages each being 4.07 acres with a total of 8.14 +/- acres available.
One half of the property has a mobile home and carport with a separate water well from the
other property.  The main shop and the mobile home have electric gate entrances.  Both acreages
total between 800 and 900 feet of highway frontage on truck route 351 outside the city limits of
Beeville, Texas.  The business has grown every year for 32 years.
