The Man Behind

John Sisk Auctioneers is a Premier Auction Company, established in January of 1981, is located just outside of George West and led by none other than the man himself, John Sisk CAI, PRI, CAGA, FCAI, HOF. John earned his CAI, the highest designation. Awarded for Professionalism in the auction industry. His CAGA is for his appraisal designation. He is a Licensed Auctioneer #7425.

John is a member of the good standing of Texas and National Auctioneers Associations. He has served in the Texas Auctioneers Association for three terms on the Board of Directors. He is Co‐Founder of the Fellowship of Christian Auctioneers International. In 2009 he was the Texas State Champion Auctioneer. In 2012 he was inducted into the Texas Auctioneers Hall Of Fame. In 2005 he was named Citizen of the Year by the Three Rivers Lions Club. His company has an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.

After losing his wife of 29 years to COVID in 2020, his youngest son Hudson decided to pause his education from UTSA and help out in the business. He went to auction school, graduated, passed the exam, and has been the lead auctioneer, other than dad, of course, to our company. As a rookie last year, Hudson placed in the Finals at the TAA Convention Auctioneer Contest. He also works for several other auctioneers and has knowledge in all aspects of an auction: From Clerking and Running HIBID, Selling, Ringing (PRI) Certification, and Sound. John’s License is #7425, Hudson’s License #18090.
